Thank you for checking out our Takes A Village page. We are excited you are here! We are a local non-profit organization out of Andover, MN.
We are here to support your needs in prayer, through use of prayer boxes, our website, social media, community connections and in-home prayer. We also aim to connect people to churches, where needed, and also BE the church for those who don't attend church. We are ALL the church.
We believe that prayer is fundamental for the believer and unbeliever alike.
Prayer is a way that people can share their burdens, struggles, anxieties and victories in life with other people.
We are called to prayer:
Philippians 4:6-7 "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
The Prayer Box is one the primary ways that people in neighborhoods can share their prayer requests with families who have a genuine interest in praying for them.
The Prayer Boxes are located at various locations, currently starting in Andover, MN. Our vision is to continue spreading this across the United States, to see boxes at many homes, businesses, and other avenues- so everyone can see the light of Jesus!
